The Cross and Real Love (Based on John 15:9–17)

Homilies

Jesus doesn’t invite us to a comfortable love—He commands us to love as He loved: totally, sacrificially, with joy. The Cross isn’t just a symbol; it’s the pattern of Christian life. We are called to love people who are difficult, to forgive when it hurts, and to give even when it costs. But this love is not empty. It’s the path to real joy. Love like this changes hearts—first ours, then the world’s. If you want to live fully, love deeply. Start with the person closest to you. Choose the Cross. Choose Christ.
